Aeromobil 3.0 Flying Car

What is it? Why do you want it? Where can you get it? How much?
a flying car unique, very clever Aeromobil $279,000 (estimated)

The Aeromobil flying car has been in development for no less than 20 years. The vehicle's designer, Stefan Klein, is currently working on version 3.0 of the vehicle. But the previous version, 2.5, has already been tested, both on the road and in the air.

The Flying Roadster 3.0 prototype has a top groundspeed of 124mph and a flight travel range of 430 miles or up to four hours of flight time.

The Aeromobil is roughly the length of a regular large car, and the vehicle can be parked in regular parking slots and fuelled at normal petrol stations. Once in the air it is more fuel-efficient than road cars.

The Aeromobil is currently not for sale (the expected launch is sometime around 2018). Prices are yet to be confirmed, but the figure of $279,000 has been mentioned as a guide.
